The POWCH! hit the fashion runway on April 30th at Kickin’ maternity boutique with Chicago’s very own eco-friendly, clothing designer, Molly Ades (Molly Ades Maternity) and other local celebrities, Jackie Dorris -Founder, Fit4MOM, Neighborhood Parent Network‘s Associate Executive Director, Christa Reed and Kickin‘ owner, Trudy Robinson Foley.
All enjoyed an evening of spring fashion for moms and moms to be, delicious hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine, and mocktails at Kickin‘ in Chicago’s Roscoe Village. Christa and Trudy hosted the show wearing designer fashions from the boutique including Maternal America, cobalt blue shawl/nursing scarf/superhero cape and Queen Mum black lace top.
The show kicked off with casual wear from Molly Ades including an adorable, striped, zip-front nursing (or mardi gras) tank dress.
And, Queen Mum violet sleeveless top with Ripe Fluid pant and ‘statement’ jewelry like Momma’s Jewels sterling silver teething necklace.
Also featured was professional to evening attire from Queen Mum (including baby and nursing shawl!) with the finale showcasing a gorgeous formal, Lacy Skater Dress from Ripe with rockin’ black lace heels. (All shoes found at A Pied shoe boutique in Chicago).
Guests were treated to exclusive discounts and promotions after the show while enjoying ‘private event’ shopping. And, raffle give-aways included items such as: a deluxe stroller, Fit4Mom premium gift certificate, free classes from Bubbles Academy, NPN annual membership, and a k.o. kidz Mommy & Me POWCH! ‘Limited Edition’ design set. Local celebrities including eco-designer, Molly Ades and Fit4Mom, Jackie Dorris were spotted with the latest, on-the-go fashion accessory and attendees including Chicago moms, Keri Cote and Meg Goodling modeled The POWCH!.
