CHICAGO, Illinois – Chicago based, eco-friendly product start-up, k.o. kidz Corp., launched its first product (THE POWCH!) today on Indiegogo.
THE POWCH! is a 12 oz, reusable, collapsible, waterproof, USA made, food pouch and collapsible bottle. The Company’s founder and POWCH! creator, Karen Orlich, originally developed the product over two years ago to provide an alternative to the disposable, on-the-go, fruit and vegetable pouches on the market. “They’re expensive, hold very little food, and are terrible for our environment…2.5 BILLION single use pouches go into landfill every year”, states Karen in The POWCH! promotional video (see below).

The k.o. kidz POWCH! is made of soft, eco-friendly, easy to clean, waterproof fabric that is BPA and PVC free. It can be filled with applesauce, yogurt, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, smoothies, etc. to provide a healthy, on-the-go snack or meal. Karen began to use it herself while commuting or after a work-out for protein shakes. It has now been tested successfully with dozens of kids and adults.
